According to company’s strategy, be responsible for government affairs work of relative authorities at central & Provincial government level. To coordinate with sales, marketing and other related department to maximize the business potential from government relation initiatives and events. To cooperate with local sales team and other department on market access for *** Strategic products to ensure the quickest market access in the potential areas.
Specific responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:-
1) External clients & macro policy research
? Build and connect with healthcare reform authorities and key experts in central level, strengthen network with MOH, HIRA and other related state level authorities to build positive image in central government departments
? Develop the company’s government communications and public policy strategies through macroeconomic and policy research (e.g. new policies, changes in government hierarchy, political trends and events, as well as their impact on the company’s business, and other macroeconomic issues)
? Visit important governmental authorities in the target markets regularly and maintain good contact with provincial level authorities and officials. Design and develop the cooperation projects between **** and authorities in a win-win way.
2) Market Access
? Follow up healthcare reform and other related policy and regulation trend, know clearly about related policy and regulation, provide policy analysis regular.
? Work closely with the channel team, support bidding by analysing relevant policies
? Work closely with regional sales teams to develop reimbursement strategy, as well as keep good communication with relevant stake holders, key KOL in strategic hospitals
? Responsible for the pricing strategy in Regional and Provincial level, include keeping constant communication with MOH and regional provincial price association
? Identify key issues and challenges (which is related to government policies) blocking product list and provide solutions to address the issues, early involve in regulations and legislation that are of interest to the company.
3) Cooperation with internal clients & peers
? Cross-functional cooperation with other departments to drive market access (e.g. Charging reimbursement and bidding) for existing & future products to ensure the quickest market access
? Manage the key projects/activities together with local sales team, Assist local sales teams and channel teams to build trusty relationship and effective communication with local pricing, reimbursement, bidding and health care authorities to meet **** short, medium and long-term development needs.
4) Team Management
? To ensure the smooth operation of the department
? To develop subordinates with effective feedback & coaching
? To control the expense budget within the department
Qualifications and Experience
At least 10 years experience in healthcare industry, including minimum 8 years GA Experience in multinational enterprises
